Greene King, the UK’s leading pub retailer and brewer, will bring its iconic London pubs to life at this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show.
We’ve been running pubs and brewing award-winning beer from our base in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk ever since the company was founded in 1799 by 19 year-old Benjamin Greene.
Today we have over 3,000 pubs, restaurants and hotels across England, Wales and Scotland including much loved brands such as Hungry Horse, Chef & Brewer and Old English Inns.
On the day team members from 15 of our most iconic London pubs will dress up in character to bring their pub to life by cheering from within pub signs on the float.
Greene King will also be supporting its national charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support. During our partnership with Macmillan we are proud to have raised over £3million and counting. Throughout the weekend all our London pubs will be fundraising. Through in-pub fundraising to donations from every Fish & Chips we sell, we hope to raise £40,000 for the cancer charity.
