Lord Mayor’s Day Tours

The City of London is amazing – City Guides will help you discover its delights. The City, also known as the Square Mile, is the financial heart of London. It has been central to British history for centuries, and contains historic buildings from many ages.

Your guide will take you to fascinating places and tell stories of people, events and traditions connected with the City, including the Lord Mayor’s Show. The walks will cover the history and knowledge of the City of London with the loose theme of "Pomp & Pageantry" in the City. The walks are turn up and go. There are three different routes, allocated at random, each lasting about one hour. Walks start at about 3pm, last walk approx. 4pm.

Starting from No 1 Poultry, the large pink and white building near Mansion House, by Bank underground station. The pace is gentle and suitable for all ages. The routes will be wheelchair friendly, with no steps and few hills. Walks will end close to Bloomberg Arcade, St Paul’s or Paternoster Square.

Walks are FREE, but donations to the Lord Mayor’s Appeal would be welcome.

We look forward to seeing you on the 10th November 2018.
