Haberdashers’ Adams
2019 Procession Haberdashers’ Adams
Haberdashers’ Adams is a selective state grammar school for day pupils and boarders, located in the rural market town of Newport in Shropshire. The school was founded in 1656 by the Haberdasher William Adams and is proud to part of the Haberdashers' family of schools.
We welcome boys aged 11-18 as day boys or boarders, and girls aged 16-18 as day girls in our Sixth Form. There is no charge for education and boarders pay only for the provision associated with boarding. Over 900 pupils attend the school, including 360 in our thriving co-educational Sixth Form.
We hope you enjoy hearing our Taiko drummers perform atop of our bus. Alongside side the bus you will see pupils and former pupils representing the vast range of activities and interests of our school community. The pupils have been selected by former pupil Radzi Chinyanganya who chose them based on their ability to overcome adversity, quiet contribution to school life or efforts to promote diversity within the school.
