Parking suspended

Closures Parking suspended

Every visitors’ parking bay in the City of London is suspended for the day of the Lord Mayor’s Show, which this year is Saturday 11th November, and the afternoon of the day before. A few residents' bays are also affected.

The suspension begins on Friday afternoon so that nobody needs to be towed away on the Saturday morning.

Residents’ parking is generally not affected but there are some bays closed around Fann Street, Golden Lane and High Timber Street where space is needed. Please look out for notices of future suspension when parking: any car still in a closed space on Show day will be taken to the pound.

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes, but all of those roads are closed too and the free movement of large trucks, carriages, marching detachments, brass bands, heavy artillery, cavalry charges and hot air balloons is vital to the organisation of the Lord Mayor’s Show.
