Thriplow Village in South Cambridgeshire is home to William Russell, this year's Lord Mayor of London. Our village represents all that is best about an English rural community. And this year, to celebrate William's election, we are taking part in the Lord Mayor’s procession! Our ‘float’ brings together many of the vital strands that bind our village together, with children from the primary school, our Vicar from St George's Church, players from the Cricket Club and just a few of the hundreds of volunteers who have helped the annual Thriplow Daffodil Weekend raise over £500,000 for local charities over the past 52 years. It’s the people that make a community and our float will celebrate everyone who makes our village so special. For the latest news click here
