It really lives up to its motto Ubique (meaning “everywhere”), as it is one of the most widely travelled of all Army Reserve units. To join the squadron, soldiers must first pass the gruelling Commando Course to earn their Green Berets. They then go on to become Royal Engineers’ tradesmen, in roles varying from diver to demolition expert.
