Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation Trust
2019 Procession Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation Trust
We are a multi-academy trust of four secondary schools and five primary schools in south east London, who have been educating young people in this part of London since 1876.
Our values of aspiration and achievement, personal responsibility, self-discipline and mutual respect are evident in all our work and result in young people who develop and grow as independent, resourceful and resilient individuals.
We believe that our students deserve the best start in life, and we support this through providing a rich curriculum, encouraging responsible learning and providing opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
With students attending our schools from across south London, we are proud to have a diverse demographic. This year’s float is a cross-Federation collaborative effort with pupil contributions via music, dance, art and design.
Listen out for our Hatcham College marching samba band who will provide a lively and noisy contribution to the parade.
You will see some large scale colourful cotton reels and colourful flags designed and modelled by Crayford Academy students - this is a celebration of our close relationship with our key benefactors, The Haberdashers' Company, one of the twelve 'great' Livery Companies .
Our Knights of Steel Band from Knights Academy will be entertaining the crowds in the Festival Zone. Please do cheer us on!
