Help for Heroes

2019 Procession Help for Heroes

At Help for Heroes, we believe those who serve our country deserve support when they’re wounded. Every day, five people have to leave the Armed Forces as a result of physical or psychological wounds. We help them, and their families, recover and get on with their lives. We've already supported more than 22,000 people, and we won’t stop until every wounded veteran gets the support they deserve.

Help for Heroes is thrilled to be joining the Lord Mayor’s procession for the very first time. We believe those who serve our country deserve support when they’re wounded. Our walking float celebrates our veterans and their families, and aims to raise awareness of the ongoing support they still need. Our veterans will be wearing our Help for Heroes navy, red and light blue – representing the three services that make up our Armed Forces. They have come together from across the country to take part in the Lord Mayor’s Show, supported by their families and our incredible volunteers. Our procession will be walking to a soundtrack specially chosen in celebration of our veterans and we are looking forward to singing along with the crowds!
